HUDA PAR’s report on the new curriculum

HUDA PAR Educational Affairs Department shared the opinions and suggestions with the public in a report about the new curriculum prepared by the Ministry of National Education.

HUDA PAR Education Directorate reviewed the new draft curriculum prepared by the Ministry of National Education and made the opinions and proposals report.

The report, which was also sent to the Ministry of National Education, included opinions and proposals on the draft new curriculum, as well as criticism of the education policy.

The report, which is compiled under the headings of "Introduction", "Education Policy", "Content of Textbooks", "Conclusions and Recommendations", states that the presentation of the New Curriculum Draft to the public is a right step, but many mistakes are continued in the draft program.

It was pointed in the report that the official ideological approach was cowered in all parts of the curriculum, and even in the first, second and third grades in which the Religion Culture and Ethics Knowledge was not taught, it was stated that the tendency to inject into the ideological minded minds was continued even though there was a difference in density per the old curriculum.

It was emphasized in the report that the education of the curriculum in the secondary and high school sections the Turkish Revolution and Ataturkism still reman same and that the breeding of a Kemalist generation is one of the most obvious goals of the curriculum.

It was suggested that the new curriculum should be prepared not by being quoted from any of the Western countries, but by considering the reality of Turkiye, by making it compatible with the values ​​of the people, in harmony with its customs, tradition and history. It was suggested that religious education should be given appropriately by considering the principles of child education from the main class.

"The wrong pedagogy of the century: the coeducation model"

The report included the following findings on the "coeducation model" in the "Education Policy" section: "Co-education, which is addressed by educational scholars and pedagogues all over the world, is regarded as a "wrong pedagogy of the century" and should quickly be abandoned. Co-education has proved to be scientific evidence that adolescents have a negative impact on academic and personality development. Since this reality is not taken into consideration, a success cannot be achieved at the desired level in education."

The report, which also refers to the dress code of the educational institutions, includes statements that both the students and the educators should dress in a way that does not contradict with the customs and the morality, and should give importance to the spiritual values ​​and sensitivities of the society at the maximum level.

"Taking secularism as an element of imposition in education is a serious problem"

Mother tongue based education

It emphasized in the report that the right to education on the mother tongue should be recognized by everybody, especially if it is as demanding as the Kurds with the second most populous population.

In the "History" subtitle section of the report, the absence of a history of any Muslim peoples other than Turkish history in the curriculum is a major deficiency, as well as the abandonment of a non-objective perspective that reflects the official historical viewpoint related to the Sheikh Said event; It was underlined that the subject matter needs to be re-examined in light of concrete information and documents.

In the report, under the title of "The Contents of Course Books"; It is listed under the subheadings of "Content of Books from Religion", "Content of Books from the Moral Dimension" and "Content of Books from a Social and Cultural Point of View".

Many of the music tracks are problematic in terms of faith
