According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) on Thursday, Turkey’s industrial production increased in September on an annual basis.

The country's calendar-adjusted industrial production went up 3.4% in September.

The manufacturing index rose up by 3.4%, at the same time the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply index increased by 0.4% in the same period.

The mining and quarrying index showed the largest surge in September, up 5.7% from the same month last year.
