Speaking at the 74th General Assembly of the United Nations, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed addressed the Palestinian question and ethnic cleansing in Arakan.

Mahathir drew attention to the atrocities and murders committed by the Myanmar government against Arakanese Muslims.

"Many colonies of the west upon independence expel non-natives in their countries but no way have they been as brutal as Myanmar."

Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir emphasized the crimes against humanity committed by the Myanmar government, said: "Even natives of the country were massacred brutally killed and raped in full of view of the world."

Mahathir stated that Arakanese Muslims were forced to emigrate from their homeland and did not dare to return.

"The helplessness of the world in stopping atrocities inflicted on the Rohingyas in Myanmar had reduced the regards for the resolutions of the UN. Now despite the UN on Jammu and Kashmir the country has been invaded and occupied."

"Malaysia can never accept the occupation of Jerusalem"

In his speech to the UN General Assembly, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammed also addressed the repression and human rights abuses the occupation regime has committed in Palestine.

"Malaysia accepts the state of israel as a fait accompli but it cannot accept the blatant seizure of Palestinian land by israel for their settlements as well as the occupation of Jerusalem by israel."

Underlining that there are many wars in the world right now, and most of these wars are linked to the establishment of israel, Mahathir Mohammed, noting that there were not as many terrorist incidents in the world before the zionist regime was established.

Stating that there is now enmity towards the Muslims and Islam because of the creation of Israel, Malaysian PM underscored that Muslims accused of terrorism even if they did nothing, were oppressed all over the world and were expelled from their homes.

Mahathir stated that the world ignored the oppression of Palestinian Muslims by the occupation regime and emphasized that even though the zionist regime acted as it wished in the region, can break all the international world and norm of the world and it will continue to be supported and defended.
