Mexico reports 9,741 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19
The number of infections has been 1,988,695, an increase of 9,741 cases in the last 24 hours.
1,214 more people have died from coronavirus in Mexico, rising the country’s death toll to 173,771, according to the Health Ministry.
1,542,991 people suffering from the disease have been discharged from hospitals after being cured.
Mexico is the country with the fourth-highest coronavirus death toll, with only the US, Brazil, and India recording greater numbers.
