President Erdoğan holds phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Khan

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Imran Khan of Pakistan.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation with Pakistan's Prime Minister İmran Khan amid the tension between India and Pakistan.

The recent tensions between Pakistan and India as well as the latest developments in the region were discussed during the phone call, said the presidency in a statement.

Khan, in his statement on Tuesday, referring to tensions between India, said, "We will be in contact with our friends and we want them to play a role in reducing the tension. I will call the President of Turkiye."
