Russia records 15,916 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19
15,916 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 3,983,197.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 77,068, an increase of 407 deaths in the last 24 hours.
3,983,197 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but currently, Russia has the highest number of confirmed cases in Europe, and the fourth-highest in the world after the United States, India and Brazil.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 2,327,942, with 106,712,263 cases and 78,401,924 recoveries.
