Saudi to issue tourist visa for the first time in its history

The Saudi regime has announced that it will issue tourist visas to citizens of 49 countries for the first time in its history, except for Hajj and Umrah visits.

Ahmad Al-Hatip, head of the Saudi regime's Tourism Board, said they would issue tourist visas to 49 countries in order to open the country to tourism.

Visas can be obtained at embassies and consulates belonging to the Saudi regime, as well as at the country's airports and entry gates.

The validity of the visas will be 360 days from the date of issuance and the duration of stay in the country will be three months. No visa will be issued for more than 180 days for a year.

Ahmed Al-Hatip, head of the Saudi regime Tourism Board, said it would be forbidden for non-Muslim tourists to enter Mecca and Medina, and for tourists under the age of 18 to enter the country if they are alone, and the use of tourist visas for visits such as treatment, Hajj, and Umrah.
