Spain's Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy announced that they have dissolved Catalonia Autonomous Government and decided to hold early local elections on December 21 in this region.

Following Catalonia local parliament unilaterally declared independence, Rajoy announced the decision taken by Cabinet called regional election on December 21.
