The global number of confirmed coronavirus cases nears 100 million
The number of coronavirus related deaths reached 2,139,214 around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 25,702,125 cases, followed by India with 10,668,674 cases, Brazil with 8,844,600 cases, Russia with 3,719,400 cases, United Kingdom with 3,647,463 cases, France with 3,053,617, Spain with 2,603,472 cases and Italy with 2,466,813 cases.
A total 71,776,547 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
