HUDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu arrived in Van to attend the General Administration Board meeting, the highest decision-making body of the party.

Meeting with non-governmental organizations operating in Van in the evening dinner, HUDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, assesses the issues on the agenda.

Yapıcıoğlu, evaluated the official marriage given to the Provincial Muftis, children's mosque activities, the point where the FETO operations came, and the developments in Palestine, victims of February 28 and FETO.

Yapıcıoğlu pointed out that performing solemnizes marriage that given to provincial muftis was discussed on a few days and he underlined that the Mayors can transfer the powers of performing the marriage to another officer and if necessary they should have the authority to transfer these powers to another official of the mufti who is a government official.

Yapıcıoğlu said, “One of the issues we demand which is in our party program that muftis and imams are given authority to perform solemnize marriage, imam marriage to be granted an official status. We evaluate positively that our request has been fulfilled in this direction. On the contrary, the arrangement has been very divergent. We are thinking that those who are in these statements either do not adequately investigate the issue or intentionally distort it. After all, mufti is one of the institutions of this country. According to us, it is not enough that only the provincial and district muftis have been given the right to perform solemnize the marriage. As the mayors transferred their powers of marriage ministry to any one of the municipal officers, there should open a way for muftis for they can transfer their performing solemnize to other officers of imams in this number as much as of needs.”

“It is important for children to meet with the mosques in early ages”

Speaking about the importance of meeting children at early ages to mosques, Yapıcıoğlu said, “In the President's statement, it is said; ‘the purpose of the organization to cut our children both from schools and mosques.’ Yes, indeed, the breakup of children, both from school and from the mosque, has some dangerous consequences. Either it falls into the hands of some malicious people, or it is drawn to drug smuggling, but it is especially important that children meet early with the mosques, meet with the Qur'an and prayer.”

Stating that youth people who went to the mosque were treated as a terrorist in a period, Yapıcıoğlu pointed out that police officers and members of the judiciary of FETO play a serious role in this project.

“As you all know, there was a certain age limit for the Qur'an courses on February 28th. Before the age of 12, children were restricted to send to the Qur'an courses. Our future generations must be educated by taking spiritual education in a proper manner, by passing it on their beliefs. Otherwise, the future will be dark for us. Terrorist treatment was done to the youth who went to the mosque for a period. In the mosques, children were treated as terrorists who were teaching only the Qur'an lessons and Siyar lessons. These children were threatened and removed from the mosque. Police officers or members of the judiciary of FETO, in particular, were playing a serious role in this project. At present, the state's memorandum consists of documents written by officials of FETO. This has to be corrected absolutely.”

“The matter is that the zionists are there and occupied that place”

Yapıcıoğlu pointed out that the zionists which established a terror network and recognizes it as state and that the Palestinians who were legitimately resisting the terrorist network were accepted as terrorists.

Yapıcıoğlu said, “22 days ago in Jerusalem, a few brothers were martyred. There are over 20 martyrs in Jerusalem in July. This issue has been discussed for a long time in the country, but the debate, in general, has been discussed in the form of zionist terrorists dressed in soldiers or police suits there, not to let the Muslims of Jerusalem get into the Masjid al-Aqsa and to prevent the freedom of worship. The question is not the freedom of worship. The question is, the presence of the zionists in there, the occupation of the place.”

“If the terrorist network roots the Palestinian territory, it will not hesitate to extend its branches to other sides”

Yapıcıoğlu made a call to those who have a legitimate view that the zionist terrorist network would use force against the Palestinian people, finally said:

“I warn those who go to the way of narration as if the zionists were legitimate to use force but overdid, and I complain to the public, to the Islamic Ummah. If you do not know where this is going, I warn you from here, you cannot get out of this sin. Everyone should know clearly; if the zionist terror network roots the Palestinian territory, it will not hesitate to extend its branches to other sides. They argue that the land between the Nile and the Euphrates was promised to them by Allah. If they think they have the power to occupy the territory between these two rivers, and if they think that they will manage it after the invasion, they will surely seek a way to spread out.”
