HUDA PAR headquarters, which made a statement on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the massacre of the Halabja, emphasized that those responsible for the massacre were not just the cruel dictators of the time, Saddam and his abettors, and that the world imperialism fed with the blood of the oppressed was responsible, even perpetrator of this genocide.

“We commemorate like the first day’s pain and suffer on 29th anniversary of the massacre of Halabja, the last circle of Enfal operation, which imperialists carried out by the Ba'ath regime on March 16, 1988 and thousands of Kurds were massacred and hundreds of thousands of them were displaced,” said in the statement and the following expressions were used:

“World imperialism fed by the blood of the oppressed is the responsibility even the perpetrator of this genocide”

“The oppressed Kurdish people, the orphan of Ummah were massacred in the eyes of the whole world in Halabja, which is a shame in the name of humanity and a black page in the history of the world, women, children and old aged people have been massacred by chemical weapons. The responsibility of this massacre is not only the cruel dictator Saddam and his abettors. The imperialism of the world, provided these weapons to Saddam and fed by the blood of the oppressed, are as much as responsible as Saddam, even perpetrator of this genocide.”

Pointing out in the statement that the imperialist countries have been made new Halabjas in the geographical region of Islam, “But unfortunately they have not been asked to account for their role in the massacre of thousands of oppressed Kurds by their chemical weapons used by their pawns killed children, elderly, youths, women and men. Imperialist countries that encourage this, haven’t quit of their dirty goals and made new pawns that they dragged on the market, made Muslims to kill Muslims and giving us new Halabjas.”

“Massacre of Halabja is a genocide"

They made a call in the statement that the Halabja massacre is a genocide and that other states in the world, especially Turkiye, have officially accepted it as a genocide, “The source of the chemical weapons in Halabja’s  massacre are the imperialist forces. We are surprisingly watching that after years they now got in protectorate role in order to keep their interests in the region which they had watched of killing Kurds those days. Halabja massacre is a genocide and we are calling for other countries in the world, especially Turkey, to officially accept it as a genocide.”

At the end of the statement made by HUDA PAR Headquarters, the following expressions were used:

“In the 29th anniversary of massacre once again we commemorate Halabja martyrs with mercy and condemn the perpetrators and instigators of these atrocities. To not experience new Halabjas, to not give opportunity to cruel and settling them on their knees, to be hope for all Muslims on the world as well as for all persecuted people, we must make our unity and put the values we believe in the center of our lives.”
