There are new detainees in visa crisis with the USA
It was reported that the wife and son of a person in charge at the US Embassy to Turkiye were taken into custody, and their inquiries continued.
There was a new development in the morning following the allegations that there was another second custody decision at the US Consulate General.
It was reported that N.M.C. the employee of the US Consulate General in Istanbul whose wife and son were taken into custody, “has the absence of diplomatic immunity.”
The statement made by the Istanbul Republic Prosecutor General's Office, consular employees N.M.C was summoned to appeal his testimony.
