There need evidences for FETOs

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who came to Ankara for a series of visits, said evidences are needed for extradite of the FETOs from Germany.

German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who came to Turkiye for a series of visits, met with Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Ankara.

Gabriel, who was presenting to the press members, was told that a visit to Incirlik was not possible at the moment.

Gabriel said, “I felt sorry for that. Moving German soldiers from here to another place doesn’t mean relation of Germany and Turkiye is going badly. There is no clear decision to withdraw from Incirlik. Turkiye clearly showed that parliamentarians would not be allowed to visit because of domestic political reasons. And in this case the Bundestag will ask the government to find another place for the soldiers in Incirlik.”

Gabriel stated that the relations between Turkiye and Germany had been going through a distressing period and stated that visas should be facilitated for scientists and businessmen.

Regarding to extradite of the members of the FETO in Germany, Gabriel said, “We need evidences for FETO's, and we will follow each end.”

In addition, Gabriel added that asylum decisions were made by independent courts in Germany.
