Trains collision in Egypt kills at least 15, injured 40
In Egypt, 15 people lost their lives and 40 other people were injured in the accident that resulted in two train collisions.

In a statement made by the Egyptian Ministry of Transport, it was stated that the two carriages separated from the passenger train collided with the cargo train coming from the opposite side.
It was reported that 15 people lost their lives and 40 people were injured. All the injured persons reportedly were taken to hospitals and their treatment continued.
Due to railway networks are poor, railway accidents are common in Egypt. In the past year, 1,249 train accidents took place in the country. In the city of Alexandria, 42 people lost their lives and 100 people were injured last August. (ILKHA)
