Turkey records 21,030 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19
87 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 29,864, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,971,633, after 21,030 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 1,547 patients are in critical condition, 2,788,757 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
At least 35,975,339 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
