Turkey records 6,562 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19
128 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 25,993, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,477,463, after 6,562 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 1,634 patients are in critical condition, 2,362,415 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
More than 29,631,422 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
