Turkey reports 183 new coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours
283 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 46,970, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 5,220,549, after 8,426 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 1,504 patients are in critical condition, 5,070,815 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
53,258,116 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
