Turkey reports 237 corona deaths, 27,692 new cases within 24 hours
237 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 61,140, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,794,700, after 27,692 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 633 patients are in critical condition, 6,285,887 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
More than 81,7 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
