Turkey reports 28,817 new coronavirus cases, 373 deaths
373 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 40,504, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 4,849,408, after 28,817 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 3,525 patients are in critical condition, 4,405,199 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
More than 47,504,193 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
