Turkey reports 61,028 new coronavirus cases, 346 deaths
346 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 36,613, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 4,384,624, after 61,028 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 3,375 patients are in critical condition, 3,792,129 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
More than 44,409,756 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
