Turkey's Central Bank Monetary Policy keeps interest rate unchanged

Turkey's Central Bank has decided to keep the policy rate (one-week repo auction rate) constant at 19 percent for the third straight month.

The Monetary Policy Committee, chaired by Central Bank Governor Şahap Kavcıoğlu, released a statement after its meeting.

The bank made no changes to its benchmark policy rate keeping it at 19%, according to the statement.
