Turkey’s coronavirus death toll rises to 26,467
113 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 26,467, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,508,988, after 7,909 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 1,501 patients are in critical condition, 2,396,199 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
30,206,504 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
