The meeting will be held at 17:00 o’clock via videoconference, according to the Health Ministry

The mass COVID-vaccination campaign, which was started with healthcare staff last week, will be discussed in the meeting.

Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca became the first person in the country to get the Chinese Sinovac vaccine after Turkey's health authorities approved CoronaVac for emergency use against the coronavirus.

As part of its countrywide immunization drive for the coronavirus, Turkey started to vaccinate people over 80 years old on Monday, after it had vaccinated healthcare staff.

After the meeting, Koca is expected to make a written statement after the meeting.
