Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, made explanation on the agenda, stated that Turkiye should be liberated from the state of emergency at the first opportunity.

Zeybekci said that many areas of work, such as free zones, loads on production, have come to a point and expressed that important production-related reform packages will come to the life.

Zeybekci stated that the reforms should also be carried out with the burden of the state, “The point about the unemployment is the weakest point of us in the election. Higher unemployment figure effects to the referendum. If we want to get a positive figure about unemployment, we should not grow below 5.5%.”

Zeybekci also mentioned that it is against the emergency state, but that the need for emergency state needs to be finished in Turkiye, “The terror threat especially FETO has to be annihilated. Turkiye should get rid of emergency state at the earliest opportunity.
