US offers condolences to Turkey for military helicopter crash
The United States Department of Defense has offered condolences for the Turkish soldiers killed and wounded in the tragic helicopter crash in Bitlis.
“The Department of Defense is saddened by last week’s tragic helicopter crash that resulted in the loss of Turkish soldiers in southeast Turkey. We offer deepest condolences to our NATO Ally Turkey on the lives lost and heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery for those injured,” the Department tweeted.
