Uysal was elected as AK Party's mayor candidate for Istanbul

Başakşehir Mayor Mevlüt Uysal was determined as AK Party candidate for Mayor of Istanbul.

AK Party Deputy Chairman Erol Kaya said in a statement that Mevlüt Uysal, Başakşehir Mayor, was chosen for the AK Party's candidate for President of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

It is stated that the presidential elections for the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality will be held in the provincial council at 15.00 today.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will choose the new president today. The election will be held in the provincial council at 15.00 today for the Istanbul Presidency seat vacated by the resignation of Kadir Topbaş last Friday.
