HUDA PAR Chairman Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu attended the iftaar program, organized by his party in Batman.

“We have brothers who cannot find anything to eat for days”

Saying that the month of Ramadan is the fertility, the Qur'an, the month of infancy and mercy, Yapıcıoğlu said, “We wanted to breathe the mercy together and said we should gather together. We haven’t eat for Allah's sake. But we know that there are brothers in different parts of the world who cannot find anything to eat for days. Let us remember that, in fact, there are brothers who are not in poverty but cannot find anything to eat because of the bombardment and wars they are in. Let us remember that there are brothers among the people who keep their calm life in the country, and cannot find anything to eat because of absence and cannot fill their stomach.”

“Forget bread, some can’t find clean water to iftaar”

Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that there are many who are in need one single bite to iftaar their fast said, “Let’s not forget those brothers and sisters in the minute that the hearts are hugged and the prayers are acceptable, while thanking Allah for the blessings. Let’s pray if we cannot do anything for them. We have brothers and sisters whom we are aware of the existence, but whom we cannot provide aid. Our union has been disintegrated, shattered. We started dealing with each other. We lowered to the need of a bite of bread. We could not find a bite to iftaar. Even in some places some brothers do not even reach clean water. Forget bread, they even do not find a clean water to end their fasting.”

“O Rabbi, make us enemy to enmity”

Yapıcıoğlu, continuing his conversation, said: "Let's pray together at this hour that the duas are accepted. O Rabbi, open a mercy door to our brothers who have been deprived of your blessings. Send mercy to them. We are in Ramadan month of Qur'an. It is the command of the Qur'an to be brothers. We lost our brotherhood. Give us the conscience that we are brothers again. Make us enemy of enmity.
