With the coming of the Ramadan, month of mercy, blessings and forgiveness, the mosques filled with people to read Quran together.

Grand Mosque Imam Osman Yağmur, who is present in the evaluations about the response that every age group participated in, said that the participation was high in the reading Quran together.

Grand Mosque Imam Yağmur, expressed that 70-80 percent of the reading Quran ring are young people, stated that the young people turned to the Qur'an and look at the Qur'an with love and enthusiasm.

Yağmur stated that the Qur'an is a divine book sent for the happiness and welfare of mankind, “The Qur'an is not only a book that was sent to read on demised people. Quran includes the commends of Allah Almighty for human kind to build a life in thei and other world, is a divine book sent for the happiness and welfare of mankind, to continue a life in peace. Quran and al-Qadr night come to mind when it says to ‘Ramadan’. We need to read the Qur'an more in Ramadan, we should evaluate our time with the Qur'an. Because ‘Ramadan’ is not inertia, laziness, sleeping month. We need to be aware that great victories in Islam are achieved in Ramadan. We need great efforts and awareness that the efforts are in Ramadan.”

“Our youth nested with the Qur'an”

Yağmur said that the participation of young people in reading the Quran interactively is high, said:

"You know the Grand Mosque is considered the center of the world. It comes after the Kaaba, after the Masjid al-Nabawi, after Jerusalem and Damascus. In this way we are reading the whole Quran times in the Grand Mosque, so we are reading 3 juz once a day. There is serious participation in the interactive reading. 70-80 percent of the participants are young people. We see that young people turn to the Qur'an and love the Qur'an with enthusiasm, and now our youth nested with the Qur'an. Our youth is always with the Qur'an, he knows what the orders in the Qur'an are and wonders.” (M. Hüseyin Temel, M.
