We will do to the US what needs to be done in a legal sense: Erdoğan

Relating to the events happened in front of Turkish Embassy to Washington during his visit to the United States, President Erdoğan said Turkiye will do what is need to do in a legal sense.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke after meeting iftar with state protocol in Beştepe.

Erdoğan said, “During the visit to the United States, the PKK demonstrated a few meters and the police did not do anything, but they took in two of my cognates. They took warrant decision for 12 guards. We will do anything in legal sense whatever it needs to be done.”

President Erdoğan criticized the position of the US police in his visit, saying, “While I’m in the US, PKK and FETO terror organizations members combined and demonstrating against me just 40-50 meter distance. American police did not do anything, not touching. How the attitude will be if something similar happen in Turkiye? Although they did not intervened to the case in there, they detained our two brothers yesterday. They took warrant decision for my 12 guards. Is it possible to do something like this? What kind of a law is this? If these guards are not going to protect me, why am I taking them to America? Will I protect myself with America's Hans and George?” (ILKHA)
