Zionist settlers defile Aqsa Mosque amid tight security measures for flag march
Hordes of Jewish settlers and right-wing rabbi Yehuda Glick desecrated the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.
As always, the settlers entered the Mosque in different groups and toured its courtyards under police escort.
Local sources said that at least 54 settlers, including Glick, defiled the Mosque in the morning hours.
Meanwhile, the zionist occupation army and security forces have been put on high alert on the Gaza border and across Jerusalem and the West Bank as of Monday evening as the new Tel Aviv government fears angry reactions from the Palestinians and their armed resistance.
The Palestinian resistance in Gaza, in particular, has warned of a strong response if the provocative flag march goes ahead by Jewish extremists through parts of Jerusalem’s Old City.
Hours after Benjamin Netanyahu handed over power to Naftali Bennett, the new zionist government approved the holding of the flag march by unruly Jewish youths and pro-settler groups on Monday, a step that risks inflaming tensions with Palestinians.
