IUMS condemns the assassination of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh

International Union of Muslim Scholars has released a statement regarding the martyrdom of Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

International Union of Muslim Scholars, an organization of Muslim Islamic theologians headed by Ahmad al-Raysuni, called on Islamic countries to protect Muslim scientists that have been targeted by the zionist occupation regime for years.

“Islamic states should protect their scientists as they protect the other riches of their countries,” the Union said.

The Union condemned the assassinations of Muslim scholars in Iraq, Egypt, Iran and other countries by the zionist gangs and their agents, especially the recent assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Muhsin Fakhrizadeh.

The Union offered their condolences to the members of the Fakhrizadeh family and all Iranian people.

“The countries that have signed normalization agreement with the zionist regime will be a launching platform for zionist terrorism,” the Union warned.

The Union underlined that the zionists regime and their supporters plan to kill Muslim scientists working in important fields, thereby ensuring that the occupation regime remains the “most powerful” state in the Middle East.

The Union of scholars recalled that Mossad killed the nuclear physics scientist, Mustafa Sharif, known as the Einstein of the Arabs, on January 15, 1950.

On Friday, Iran's senior-most nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated while traveling in a vehicle on a rural road in Absard, a city near Tehran.

Iranian officials have blamed Mujahideen-e-Khalq and the Zionist occupation regime for the murder.
