Russia reports 496 coronavirus deaths in the last 24 hours
27,543 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 2,215,533.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 38,558, an increase of 496 deaths in the last 24 hours.
1,712,174 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but currently, Russia has the second-highest number of confirmed cases in Europe after France, and the fifth-highest in the world after the United States, India, Brazil, and France.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,438,955, with 61,374,394 cases and 42,448,015 recoveries.
