Turkey reports 193 new deaths from COVID-19
Turkey has reported 193 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to 14,509, the country’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
According to the statement, the number of patients rose to 527,070, after 6,903 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 5,303 patients are in critical condition, 423,142 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
19,338,181 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
