7 police killed; 3 others wounded in Afghanistan
7 policemen were killed and 3 others wounded in an attack in the Farah province of western Afghanistan on Wednesday.
No group has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far but the local officials have blamed Taliban for the attack.
The clashes took place after gunmen attacked a security checkpoint in the village of Rigi on the outskirts of provincial capital Farah city, according to the local reports.
Taliban declared a three-day ceasefire during Eid al-Fitr but it didn’t accept to extend the ceasefire, which ended on Tuesday night.
