Ceasefire announced in Idlib
A ceasefire has been declared in the Idlib de-escalation area, the Russian military's Centre for Reconciliation in Syria said in a statement on Friday.
The ceasefire has been come into force since 1100 GMT in the de-escalation zone of Idlib.
In a joint statement issued following their meeting, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin underscored the necessity to establish calm in the Idlib de-escalation area by fully implementing all agreements on Idlib.
