Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases nears 12 million

546,737 people have so far died from coronavirus around the world.

The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 3,097,084 cases, followed by Brazil with 1,674,655 cases, India with 744,006 cases, Russia with 694,230 cases, Peru with 309,278 cases, Chile with 301,019, Spain with 299,210 cases, the United Kingdom with 286,349 cases, Mexico with 268,008 cases, Iran with 245,688 cases, Italy with 241,956 cases, Pakistan with 237,489 cases and Saudi Arabia with 217,108 cases.

A total of 6,902,486 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
