Russia reports 5,065 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours
5,065 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Russia, bringing the number of cases in the country to 917,884.
The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 15,617, an increase of 119 deaths in the last 24 hours.
729,411 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.
The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 764,117, with 21,388,904 cases and 14,169,975 recoveries.
