The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by the United Kingdom with 36,393 deaths, Italy with 32,616 deaths and France with 28,628 deaths.
New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 367,936 confirmed cases, with at least 29,009 deaths.
According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of at least 340,869 people across the world.
