US provides 1.2 million in coronavirus equipment to PKK/YPG in northeast Syria
The US-led Coalition against the DAESH provided $1.2 million worth of supplies for PKK/YPG in northeast Syria to combat the new coronavirus.
“The medical equipment, which it provided on March 27, will help protect staff at hospitals in Hasakah and Shaddadi, as well as the SDF itself. That includes the guards responsible for detention camps which hold over 10,000 captured fighters of the terrorist organization,” said the Coalition in a statement released on Friday.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompoe announced on March 27 that they would provide $ 16.8 million in aid for health and humanitarian aid in Syria to counter the Coronavirus outbreak.
