Zionist occupation forces launch arrest campaign in West Bank areas

Zionist occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign in various West Bank areas at dawn Thursday and late-night Wednesday that included two Hamas leaders and a female university student.

Eyewitnesses said that zionist occupation forces arrested a 28-year-old youth in Qalqilya on Thursday morning after breaking into his house and searching it.

Meanwhile, locals in Beitunia to the west of Ramallah city said that zionist troops rounded up a female student of Bir Zeit university, a young man and Hamas leader Hussein Abu Kweik at dawn Thursday.

Zionist soldiers also detained another Hamas leader, Jamal al-Tawil, in Um al-Sharayet neighborhood in Ramallah city at dawn, local sources said, adding that violent confrontations were reported in the same area later in the morning between zionist occupation forces and local youths.

In Jenin, Zionist occupation forces broke into a young man’s house in Maythaloun village, to the south of Jenin city, and searched it before taking him away.

In al-Khalil, zionist occupation forces raided homes in the city and in Sa’eer town and arrested two citizens, eyewitnesses reported.
